This picture was taken by the late Jack McKibbin. The view is looking westward along the up platform towards Belfast. The station name-board “DUNDONALD” is shining brightly with the reflected light of the sun. The first building on the platform is the signal cabin. Next to it is the waiting room. If you look carefully you can see three figures, one sitting, two standing beneath the canopy. In the background the stationmaster’s house and front part of the station building can be seen. The stairway to the pedestrian subway under the tracks is beside the waiting area. The sign “CROSS THE LINE BY SUBWAY ONLY” is just visible.
