How many feet trod these steps to catch the train? This picture shows the steps up the embankment from the Comber Road to the station down platform. For many years people continued to use these steps as a shortcut from the Comber Road to the Old Dundonald Road. In the mid 1970s the area was fenced off and a new path constructed. The subway entrance which was to the right of the photographer was also blocked up.
